Hero MotoCorp has taken aggressive strategies so as to get an increment in their market shares with large numbers. The country’s two wheeler manufacturing giant has made this preparations with an array of new and refreshed models which were unveiled in the auto expo held in Gurgaon [Read More About the launched products…] . A total of fifteen products were launched included updated HF deluxe and new variant HF deluxe ECO. The mechanical remain almost unchanged in the refreshed versions.
Four-Stroke Single Cylinder OHC engine is installed in Hero HF-Deluxe ECO with air cooled coolant system. The Powertrain of 97.2 cc displacement delivers a maximum power of 7.8 PS at the rate of 7500 RPM and maximum torque of 8.04 N-m at the rate of 4500 RPM. The Ignition system carved with DC operated Digital CDi (CDi Stands for Capacitor Discharge Ignition) ignition unit. The Engine is perfectly mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The power delivered and the engine specification are almost similar to the new revealed Hero Spender ISmart.
The economy version of the utility segment bike HF Deluxe has Tubular Double Cradle Frame body type and the Telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers suspension are provided in front of it and swingarm with 2-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. The suspensions are nice and they are supposed to perform remarkably. Making the ride comfortable and enjoyable Internal expanding shoe type brakes of 130 mm diameter are installed in front wheels and internal expanding shoe type of 110 mm diameter are equipped to the rear wheels. The brakes are same as its sibling hence they will perform precisely as they used to perform earlier.
Hero HF Deluxe ECO is designed for to provide better fuel efficiency than its standard version sibling. Air foils are placed on the leg guards, redesigned mirrors provide better aerodynamics along with giving a elegance look to the bike which is much more attractive than the standard version Deluxe. Low rolling friction Tyres are also installed for better fuel economy. Only new Green Color is provided to the bike by Hero MotoCorp with remarkable 3-D graphics which gives the ECO a distinct look so as to convey its eco-friendly passports. It is important to mention that the bike has lower emission capability and is less costly to the environment as hero has done work in cutting its emissions. Hence justifying its ECO tag given. The is completely different from regular HF Deluxe due to its completely different graphics and the instrument panel having jazzy outlook. Alloy wheels are also provided to the Deluxe. The bike is rumored to be placed at the upper end of the 100cc segment. Hero is giving 5 years warranty (or 70,000 km whichever is earlier) to the vehicle and 3 years warranty (or 30,000 km whichever is earlier) for the emissions of the vehicle.
The New variant HF Deluxe ECO is expected to perform well in the market. And the Hero is targeting for huge volumes from the utility segment. Hence they added another new variant in the class. Another product was Hero Spender ISmart. With all these new variants and refreshes, the hero would be giving a tough competition to the various competitors like Honda, Bajaj, and Mahindra and their various 100 cc flagships like Discover 100M, Honda dream Neo, Mahindra Centro. Hero MotoCorp will be placing it above its sibling and pricing it 3000 to 4000 INR more.
